Choiromyces meandriformis Vitt. Fruit body 4–12cm across, irregularly subglobose, yellowish brown. Flesh whitish to yellowish, marbled. Smell strongly aromatic. Asci 180´70m, eight-spored. Spores yellow, globose, 16 x 21µ in diameter, covered in blunt spines. Habitat on soil surface in frondose and mixed woods. Rare. Edibility unknown. Found In Europe. |
